4 Ideas for Playing with Slime at Home
If your kids are school-age, then they probably don’t need any ideas on what to do with So Slime. Instead, you’ll want to make sure they understand what they are not allowed to do with it. But younger kids can really benefit from playing with slime, too, because it helps them use all their senses to create new designs. Here are some ideas of slimy games to play with little ones. Admittedly, we don’t have 1,001 suggestions, but these four will get you started.
- Use Magnets and Shapes with Slime - You could teach your child to spell their name in slime. You can also use shapes or letter magnets to make imprints in your slime. There’s really no limit to your imagination here.
- Practice Writing or Drawing Shapes - Depending on the age of your child, it’s a good idea to let them practice writing letters or drawing shapes. It’s not easy to draw horizontal lines as a preschooler, but eventually your child will learn how to make squares and circles, too. After that, you can have them practice their letters. For some reason, writing is a lot more fun with So Slime than on paper.
- Find Hidden Objects in the Slime - Playing hide-and-seek has never been this much fun before. You can use tiny things like confetti and hide them in the slime and watch your child’s delight when they find these hidden shapes. The level of difficulty increases as the objects get tinier.
